Thank you. Whether you hear that often or not, you should know how thankful each and every one of us is for you. Sure, we may complain about the never ending homework and dull (sometimes) notes, but we deeply appreciate everything you do.
You have dedicated your life to teaching us and making us aware of the world and past surrounding us. You have put all of your time and passion into us, and it hurts and disgusts me that some students mistreat you so horribly. Teachers, every single one are so appreciated. I thought I’d let you know we do care, we do love you, and we do appreciate what you do.
M(r)s. Tambrie Kinder, you have had an incredible impact on me. First of all, you’re laid back and fun loving, making high school a little less stressful. You care about each and every one of us. To you, we aren’t just grades that go on your teaching record or another set of kids for another semester. To you, we are your students and your future. Our class is a big, warm family and it wouldn’t be that way without you. It’s a safe environment where all of us can be ourselves. Sure, some of us do chat a bit, but it’s because we are engaged in your class, and we are one united (nation) class, together a family.
Second, you have showed me a side of myself I didn’t realize I had. I kicked myself into hardcore motavation, and I proved to myself my hardwork truly really absolutely paid off. I can honestly say I am very proud of myself and what I’ve achieved, and I couldn’t have done it without you.
Third, I met some amazing people in your class, whom of which I hope to be friends with for a lasting time. Without the safe, loving environment, these people and I would likely never have been even the slightest of acquaintances.
Fourth, you make learning fun again. Wow, it’s been so long since I’ve said that. Ever since 6th grade, school has been an aching chore that I really just wanted to put off but I knew I had to deal with eventually. With your class, I look forward to school. I hate missing school because I know I’ll miss something incredible. For the first time in my eductaion, history interests me. That is amazing.
I have no doubt you are going through so much right now. Life is hard, and I know we both know that too well. You have been working so hard to prepare us for finals and the real world, as well as battling your own struggles after school hours. Please know we realize how hard you work and it’s okay if you don’t grade that map the next night or the test immediately; you are human, you need time to breathe just like we do.
Thank you, Ms.Kinder. Thank you. We adore you beyond words can express and even though loud sighs escape our lungs with the mention of “notes”, we are thankful for everything you do. Never forget how loved you are and how many lives you’ve changed. Thank you for being more than an educator. Thank you for being a teacher.
