Every Girl’s Problem

It began as simply as anything,
A boy and a girl, they met.
He stole her heart,
He played her on,
But eventually he fell for her too.
She loved everything about him,
From the way he said her name to the way he walked.
But every time she had a chance to be with him,
He was always taken away.
Snatched from her grasp.
His heart given to another.
It pained her so much inside,
Knowing that his love belonged to another.
She always tried to stay there
To still believe there would be a chance.
A chance for them to be them,
Together.
But that chance never came.
And deep down she knew that he’d never love her as much as she loved him.
